Crocodiles ancient reptiles known for their powerful jaws and stealthy hunting tactics, come in a variety of sizes. 

Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) Often considered the largest living reptile, these crocodiles can reach lengths of up to 7 meters (23 feet).

Nile Crocodile (Crocodylus niloticus) These formidable predators are native to Africa and can grow up to 6 meters (20 feet) long.

American Crocodile (Crocodylus acutus) Found throughout the Americas, from Mexico to northern South America, these crocodiles can reach lengths of up to 6 meters (20 feet).

Orinoco Crocodile (Crocodylus intermedius) Native to the Orinoco River basin in South America, these crocodiles can grow up to 6.5 meters (21 feet) long.

Philippine Crocodile (Crocodylus mindorensis):  This endangered species is found only on the island of Mindoro in the Philippines. They can grow up to 3 meters (10 feet) long.

Gharial  (Gavialis gangeticus): This long-snouted crocodile is found in India and Nepal. They can grow up to 6.5 meters (21 feet) long.

Siamese Crocodile (Crocodylus siamensis):  This critically endangered species is native to Southeast Asia. They can grow up to 3.5 meters (11 feet) long.

False Gharial  (Gavialis gangeticus): This smaller species of gharial is found in India. They can grow up to 5 meters (16 feet) long.
