President Zelensky claims that the most recent lethal bombardment from Russia—the second in as many days—demonstrates why Ukraine requires far more assistance from its western partners.

He is seeking additional help in two areas. Firstly, he asserts that permission for Ukraine to use Western-made goods must be quickly granted by American, British, and other allies.

He claims that by doing this, Moscow would be less able to terrorize the skies over Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Kryvyi Rih, and other cities that have been targeted in the previous 48 hours.

President Zelensky has emphasized the urgent need for a unified and strategic approach to counter the ongoing threat posed by Russia's missiles and drones.

He seems to be pointing out last night how Israel received tremendous support in shooting down the great bulk of the massive bombardment that came from Iran and its allies in April.

The Zelenskyi team frequently draws attention to military or geopolitical parallels while simultaneously expressing thanks for ongoing Western backing.

While keeping in mind their reservations from the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the allies continue to assess the degree of military support they give to Ukraine.
