A 10-year-old girl was found dead with her throat slashed at her family's home in Carrara, Gold Coast, Queensland.

Emergency services were called to the scene around 6 pm, but unfortunately, the girl could not be saved. Police have launched a homicide investigation into the tragic incident

The girl was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. A homicide investigation has been launched by Queensland Police.
