MonkeyPox:  There are used two primary vaccines

Monkeypox,  now officially called Mpox, is a viral infection that can cause a rash and flu-like symptoms. While it shares similarities with smallpox, it's generally less severe.

Transmission:  Spread through close contact with an infected person, contaminated materials, or infected animals.

Symptoms:  Fever, headache, muscle aches, backache, chills, swollen lymph nodes, and a rash that forms blisters and then crusts over.

Treatment:  Primarily supportive care, as there's no specific treatment for mpox. Most people recover within a few weeks.

JYNNEOS (also known as Imvamune or Imvanex):  This vaccine is a newer generation smallpox vaccine that has been shown to be effective against monkeypox.

ACAM2000:  This is an older smallpox vaccine that also provides protection against monkeypox. It contains a live vaccinia virus.

Prevention:  Avoiding close contact with infected individuals, practicing good hygiene, and getting vaccinated if recommended.
