Skatepark Safety Tips: Protect Yourself and Others

Wear Proper Protection: Always wear a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. These can significantly reduce the impact of falls.

Check Your Equipment: Ensure your gear is in good condition before heading to the skatepark. Replace worn-out or damaged items.

Know Your Limits:  Start with easier obstacles and gradually progress as your skills improve. Avoid attempting tricks beyond your ability.

Watch Your Surroundings:  Be aware of other skaters and pedestrians in the park. Maintain a safe distance and call out when necessary.

Respect the Park: Follow the park's rules and etiquette. Be considerate of other users and avoid hogging ramps or rails

Warm Up:  Before skating, perform light exercises to increase blood flow and flexibility.

Learn Proper Falling Technique: Practice how to fall safely to minimize injuries.

Take Breaks: Avoid skating for extended periods without rest. Give your body time to recover.

Hydrate:  Drink plenty of water, especially during hot weather.
