Formulate and execute policies and strategic plans centered on climate change.
Develop and oversee development projects focused on climate change mitigation and adaptation.
Conduct and publish original research in reputable journals.
Establish connections between climate change, sustainable development goals (SDGs), macroeconomic policies, and poverty reduction.
Engage with international donors, UN agencies, INGOs, and civil society stakeholders.
Federal Ministry Of Climate Change Jobs Qualifications/Eligibility:
Ph.D./M.Phil or Master’s Degree in relevant fields from an HEC-recognized national or international university.
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience for PhD holders and 9 years for Master’s degree holders, with at least 3 years in senior management roles.
Proven track record in policy formulation, strategic planning, and development initiatives related to climate change.
Sound knowledge of national and international climate change landscapes.
Experience in drafting climate change-related legislation and legal documents.
Maximum age of 62 years at the time of application.
